Cleveland Stache Dash 5K / 1M Fun Run-Walk
Join us for Cleveland’s Premiere Celebration of the Stache – where your upper lip finally gets the attention it deserves. Can you think of a better excuse to stop shaving? Register by Monday, October 17 to guarantee you receive a hooded sweatshirt and beanie. Goody bags to first 300 pre-registered. Post-race refreshments will be provided. This is a family-friendly event! Proceeds from the race benefit the North Ridgeville Parks & Recreation Department.
Basketball Courts Closure: August 12-14
The basketball courts located in South Central Park will close Cornfest weekend starting on Friday, August 12 at 2:00PM. The basketball courts will re-open on Monday, August 15 at 10:00a.m.
Splash Pad Closure: August 12-14
The Splash Pad located in South Central Park will close Cornfest weekend starting on Friday, August 12 at 4:00PM. The Splash Pad will re-open to residents on Monday, August 15 at 10:00a.m.
The North Ridgeville Lions Club will be hosting their 28th Annual 5K Run / Walk & Fun Run on Saturday, August 13 at 9:00a.m. All participants receive a t-shirt and custom finisher medal.
Top 10 Estate Planning Mistakes
2022 USDA Exotic Woodboring/Bark Beetle Survey
The USDA will be conducting their 2022 Exotic Woodboring/Bark Beetle Survey within South Central Park. USDA technicians will be placing six tree-hanging insect traps in South Central Park which will run April through September 2022. The first two traps will be in place the week of April 4 with three more in the first week of May. All trapping equipment is labeled with USDA contact information if any observer has questions or concerns.
Walking with Sole formally known as Healthy Strides
All members of the community are welcome! Combines a casual 30-minute walk, preceded by a brief informative talk by local health professionals and city officials. Consider coming to stay active and promote physical fitness, allowing yourself to physically and mentally recharge. Program is free to attend with no pre-registration needed. In case of inclement weather walks will be canceled for the evening. Cancellations will be posted on our website, department Facebook® page and Rainout Line (440)-210-6226. Program will run for 12 consecutive Thursdays.
