Parks & Recreation Plan-Input Wanted
The Parks Department has partnered with McKenna to create an updated vision for the City’s parks, facilities, greenspace, and programs. As the Parks and Recreation Master Plan kicks off, community members are encouraged to provide input online or in person.
Residents can place ideas on a map, answer a brief survey, or share thoughts in the online comment box through the project website. The McKenna team will also be at the Touch-a-Truck event on June 13 and the Summer Concert on June 21 with fun activities designed to gather community input.
Splash Pad: Opens Saturday, May 23
The Splash Pad located in the heart of South Central Park opens for the season on Saturday, May 23. The pad opens at 10:00 AM and closes at 8:00 PM daily. Root Road Park Construction Notice
Credit Card Transaction Fee - January 1, 2025
Effective January 1, 2025, the City will be implementing a transaction fee for credit card payments. This transaction fee will be applied to all online and in-person credit card transactions. This fee does not apply to other payment forms such as cash, EFT (electronic fund transfer) or personal checks. The Parks & Recreation transaction fee is 3.0%
